Who’s Who

If you’re a bit confused as to who all the people who I talk about are, here’s quick run down on my friends.
(I apologize in advance for the misspellings.

Amanda Moran – Junior – Amanda is a short girl, who likes to alternately punch, pinch, and hug people. She is into Japanese comic books, and draws a lot. Another one of her passions is yelling at people for being immature or whatever.

Anastasia “Anna” Sherburne – Junior – Anastasia is in my drama class. She is a very bubbly and silly person. She is a constant source of amusement for David an I (usually unintentionally).

Angela “Angie” Magnusson – Senior – Angie, the daughter of hard core mormons, loves to drink and smoke. The running joke among us is that she has a gigantic Hitler penis (long story). She is quite often the butt of sexual jokes, but she doesn’t seem to mind, and in fact sometimes contributes. She also has an amazing capacity to accidentally generate priceless quotes. She runs Cross Country.

Antoinetti “Annie” Kwong – Sophomore – A little ball of Asian fury. Annie is just an amazingly awesome (and amazingly skinny) person. She runs Cross Country.

Antony “Antonius Maximus” Marchiando – Senior – My one time best friend, we had a falling out a couple years back. Now we’re just kinda friends. Antony is very tall, and used to be fat, but isn’t any more. He’s very into drawing and Photoshop. He’s funny, but can be kind of a dick sometimes.

Charles “Charlie” Fernandez – Junior – Charlie is one of those people that everyone just likes. I would call him soft spoken in general, but that’s not to say he’s that way all the time. He also has a penchant for saying “Betch!” (pronounced boch). He is best friends with Jay and Lizzy. Charlie too, has a car. He runs Cross Country.

Chris Hirahara – Sophomore – Chris, like Jay, is a rocker. He is very much into the bass and rock music in general. He can be kind of a dick sometimes, but he’s a loyal friend and we love him. He runs Cross Country.

Coby Bryant – Senior – (No relation) Coby is tall, and quite. He does speak, but not nearly as much as the rest of us. He tends to not get involved in the more serious altercations that others of us will engage in. He is also a vegetarian. He runs Cross Country.

David Chamlee – Senior – My best friend and partner in crime. David has a car and a driver’s license, so he’s always giving rides to me and others. David lives up in the mountains so getting to his house takes just long enough to be inconvenient most of the time. He’s also mormon. He runs Cross Country.

David “David Jr.” Cornejo – Sophomore – David is a likable fellow, given to using the word “moist” rather than cool. He wears a tiny braid inset in the rest of his hair. I don’t know why . He also runs cross country.

Elise “The Roo” Unruh – Teacher – The Roo is the band, drama, and yearbook teacher at Carp High. A notorious flip-flopper, and many times hypocrite, the Roo finds it hard to command the respect of her classes. Her actual teaching skill is highly debatable. Also, she’s really fat.

Eric Cruz – Senior – Eric was the fastest person on the cross country team, only outstripped by the famouse Travis Madden, who he idolizes. He also has the tendancy to hit on other male members of the cross country team, although I’m pretty sure he’s straigt.

Jay “The Betch” Bushey – Junior – Jay is a rocker. He loves playing the guitar, and also enjoys a spot of W.O.W. now and then. He’s a fun person, but does have the habit of “jaying out” of stuff. He’s best friends with Charlie and Lizzy. He is also known as “the betch” (pronounced bawch) due to… well actually I don’t really know, but Charlie had something to do with it.

Karina Jougla – Sophomore – Karnina is the president of Carp High’s chapter of JSA. She’s also really tall.

Leah Ughoc – Senior – A long time friend, we never really hung out much untill high school started. She doesn’t really tend to hang out with the people I hang out with, but we do stuff together sometimes. Her and Angela are best friends.

Lily Unterthiner – Sophomore – David Chamlee’s Girlfriend at the time of this writing. Lily, is a quite person, which one would think would be somewhat at odds with David’s personality, but Lily is able to appreciate David and I’s (admittedly rather immature and vulgar, at times) sense of humor. Lily and Annie are best friends.

Elizabeth “Lizzy” Vega – Junior – Lizzy is a fun person, but can be a bit quite at times. If she hangs out with us, it’s almost always in conjunction with Charlie or Jay. It should also be noted that she works at Foster’s Freeze, the local burger and ice cream joint.

Maggie Sharpe – Freshman – Maggie is my girlfriend and next door neighbor. She likes to play the drums and play video games, and is a totally awesome person :). Also, she’s best friends with Seanna Moens. Oh, and did I mention she’s a really awesome person?

Michael Solano – Senior – Micheal is in drama class with David and I. He tends to travel in different social circles than us, but this year we’ve become good friends. Micheal is one of four captains of the cross country team. He is seen as a very “responsible young adult” (although those of us that know him well enough, know that that’s not strictly true).

Noe “Big Bird” Gomez – Senior – Noe is a very likable fellow, very polite and nice. A good christian and a straight A student. However, he does have another side to him. When among only friends, Noe can have an exceedingly dirty mind, and has been known to preform stripteases on girls’ birthdays.

Scott “Scuffin” Buffon – Senior – I’ve known Scott since we were both babies, but didn’t really start hanging out with him until high school. He lives across the park from my house, and one street back. He is known under the monikers of Scuffin, Boofawn, Muffin, and a couple others. He also bears a vague resemblance to Harry Potter. He runs Cross Country.

Seanna Moens – Freshman – Seanna is my neighbor. Also she attended a drama camp of which I was one of the councilors, which is how we know each other. She is best friends with Maggie Sharpe.

Sonya Mann – Does not attend Carp High – Sonya and I met last summer and went out for a while up in the bay area. When I had to go home, we did the long distance thing for a while, but eventually we broke it off, even though we still very much liked each other. We have stayed good friends. She is a really cool person.

Travis “The Team” Madden – Junior – Travis did cross country last year and was the star of the team. This year however, he opted not to do cross, in favor of training for triathlons. Among members of the team, he’s jokingly idolized, especially by his then number 2, Eric. Travis, for his part, is very modest about the whole thing.
